Canter driver Kerry Sears was fatally stabbed last night at Eccles, East Bank Demerara, the police said today.
Sears and others were attacked and robbed by four men who arrived on two motorcycles.
It is reported that Sears got into a confrontation with one of the attackers and was dealt a stab wound to the chest. After sustaining the stab wound, Sears reportedly ran through a street on the northern side of Dump Site Road and fell. The perpetrators then escaped.
