A 38-year-old man of Lot 57 Thomas Street, Georgetown, was on Tuesday charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Wilfred Sanasee appeared at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Fabayo Azore where the charges were read to him. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and was fined $60,000, but pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and was remanded to prison until June 12.
