Fifty-seven-year-old Sherman Joseph of Koberimo Hill, North West District, Region One, appeared yesterday at the Mabaruma Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Sunil Scarce where he was charged with setting fire to a dwelling.
It is alleged that on June 9, at Koberimo Hill, North West District, he set the dwelling of Annette Joseph on fire.
Joseph pleaded guilty to the charge.
The magistrate sentenced him to three years imprisonment for the offence.
