Wayne Jacobs appeared on Friday at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly to answer to the charge of unlawful and malicious wounding.
The man pleaded not guilty.
It is alleged that on June 17, at Lot 2102 Nutmeg Street, Festival City, Georgetown, Jacobs unlawfully and maliciously wounded Viashawley Kandasammy.
The police prosecutor did not object to bail and as such it was granted in the sum of $80,000.
The matter has been adjourned to August 04.
