On Monday, the George-town Chamber of Com-merce and Industry (GCCI) met with Zulu Investments, a Mexican company with over 20 years of experience in enterprise that is looking to explore business opportunities in Guyana.
President of the Chamber, Kester Hutson (second from left) and Senior Vice President, Richard Rambarran who attended virtually, met with Zulu Investments’ Chief Executive Officer, Guillermo Garcia, Presi-dent, Luis Cerda, and Chief Financial Officer, Manuel Martinez.
The company expressed an interest in establishing a business in Guyana that addresses several industries, which include Energy, Infrastructure, Foreign Trade, Technology and Banking. A release from the Chamber said that they disclosed that they are ready to invest US$20 million and want to work alongside the GCCI to execute same. The team also indicated their desire to establish operations in a timely manner as they see themselves being a bridge between Mexico and Guyana.
