Kwakwani, PC to contest Boy’s U18 Basketball Festival Final

Kwakwani and President’s College (PC) will face-off in the Boy’s U18 divisional final of the ExxonMobil National School Basketball Festival on Sunday evening, following hard-fought semi-final victories on Monday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

Six time winners Kwakwani downed Government Technical Institute 39-30. Kasim English accumulated figures of 21 points, four rebounds, and as many steals, whilst Kelon Phillips supported with five points and six rebounds. For the loser, Martin Edwards recorded a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Similarly, PC sealed their third consecutive final’s appearance, as they edged St. Stanislaus College 32-30. Judah Ferreira netted nine points, whilst Aiden Semple amassed eight points, three rebounds, and three steals. On the other side, Brandon McKoy tallied 15 points, and four steals.
