Beacons and Rising Stars secured lopsided wins when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Monday evening at the Community Centre ground.
The Beacons unit dismantled Lazio by a 6-0 score-line. Clint Kellman led the rout with a double in the 32nd and 63rd minute, whilst the quartet of Whitney Welcome, Jermaine Christian, Oswin Joseph, and Shameer Mentore found the back of the net in the 25th, 65th, 69th, and 70th minute respectively.
Similarly, Rising Stars brushed aside Wolves 3-1. Ian Gomes crafted a hat-trick in the 32nd, 55th, and 57th minute. On target in the loss was Ivelaw Ramsden in the 82nd minute.
