Rosignol United and Cougars stormed to lopsided victories on Sunday evening in the Berbice Football Association Senior Men’s League.
Staged at the Rosignol Community Centre ground, the home side crushed Fyrish 6-0. Nial Roberts bagged a brace in the 63rd and 69th minute, whilst the trio of LaShawn Myles, Terique Benn, and Garson Barker scored in the 35th+1, 70th+1, and 70th+3 minute respectively.
Similarly, Cougars mauled Ithaca 6-1 in a reduced 70th minute encounter. Alistair Drakes, Delroy Ferdinand, Dane Johnson, Kwesi Mickel, William Sommersell, and Dexter Welcome etched their name on the scorer’s sheet in the fifth, 27th, 33rd, 65th, 75th, and 78th minute apiece. For the loser, O. Anthony netted in the 68th minute.
