Archery Guyana will stage its national outdoor championships at the Queen’s College ground, Thomas Lands on Saturday and Sunday.
The divisions that will be contested at a distance of 30 metres are Recurve and Barebow, which will feature four categories. They are the men’s, women’s, U18 men and U18 women. On Saturday, the ranking segment of the event will take centre stage with Sunday set to feature the elimination rounds and the corresponding finals. The event is sponsored by Sterling Products whilst beverages will be provided by Oasis. The organization recently staged its indoor youth championships at the National Gymnasium, where siblings Saifullah and Fatima Gani won the men and women’s U18 gold medals respectively.
