Police are investigating the discovery of the decomposed body of a 42-year-old labourer of Region Two in a canal at Dredge Creek, Region Two, on Friday morning.
The labourer was identified by police as Wayne Hendricks from Dredge Creek.
The partly decomposed body was discovered floating upwards, on the western side of the canal and was pulled out of the water.
According to the police, no mark of violence was seen on the body.
The body is at the Suddie hospital mortuary where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
