The Ministry of Public Works yesterday said that one lane of the East Coast of Demerara Public Road from Belfield to Orange Nassau will be closed in intervals from today, October 5, 2023 to Monday, October 30, 2023.
A release from the ministry said that this partial closure is to facilitate the construction of a pavement along the route. During the construction period, there will be a traffic commander on site to direct the traffic.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to exercise caution and observe all safety and directional signs.
