Two -bedroom units handed over at Ordnance Fortland

Another set of families were able to receive keys to their new low-income homes on Friday, the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) said.

This time, the keys were handed over by Minister of Housing and Water,  Collin Croal at the Ordnance Fortlands Housing Scheme, Region Six. Chief Executive Officer of CH&PA,  Sherwyn Greaves and team were also on the ground, as well as, representatives from the New Building Society (NBS).

The homes measure 20×30 feet and feature two bedrooms, kitchen and sanitary facilities.

The release said that the Housing Ministry has overseen the construction of a total of 200 homes across the two schemes. The Minister emphasized the transformative impact of these homes on the lives of residents and their families, offering improved safety and various other benefits.
