Thurston Kenrick Williams called ‘Gaza’, a 32-year-old miner of 7 Miles Mahdia, was arrested on 2023-11-18 and charged on Tuesday with possession of a firearm and ammunition without a licence.
Williams was arrested by Police for possession of one .38 pistol and one live round of .32 ammunition.
The defendant appeared at the Mahdia Magistrate’s Court, via Zoom, before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce. He pleaded not guilty to both charges. The defendant was remanded to prison. The next court date is 2024-01-16.
