West Demerara powerhouse Slingerz got their Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Elite League Playoff off to a perfect start, crushing Dominators 6-0 at the Anna Regina ground in Essequibo.
Sheldon Holder bagged a double in the 48th and 81st minutes, while Deon Alfred recorded a brace in the 76th and 85th minutes. Adding goals in the 31st and 38th minutes apiece were Clive Nobrega and Simeon Moore.
Meanwhile, the Buxton Stars and Beacons of Bartica played to a 2-2 stalemate at the Eve Leary Stadium in Kingston, Georgetown.
