Danford Thomas called Dennis, a 29-year-old labourer of Pitman Street, Dartmouth, Essequibo Coast, was charged with rape, committed on a female of Region No.2, Essequibo Coast.
The offence was said to have occurred on 28th November 2023.
The police say that the accused appeared on Friday at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam, where the charge was read to him. He was not required to plead to the charge. Bail was granted in the sum of $300,000. The case was adjourned to 2024-02-02.
