Slingerz FC suffered a defeat to Brazilian outfit São Raimundo Esporte Clube during their first pre-season international club friendly yesterday at the Estádio Canarinho in Boa Vista.

The West Demerara outfit suffered a 0-4 defeat at the hands of the host. The match was the first in a series of pre-season friendlies as the team intensified preparation for their return to the Guyana Football Federation Elite League, which is slated to commence on February 25th.
