Kervin Gordon, a 47-year-old farmer of Henrietta, Essequibo Coast, was charged with the offence of ‘Sexual Activity with a Child’ Contrary to Section 16(3)(a) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03.
The police say that Gordon appeared last week at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam, virtually via Zoom, where the charge was read to him and he was not required to plead. He was placed on $300,000 bail.
The case was postponed to 1st March 2024 at Suddie Magistrate’s Court.
