Slingerz FC returned to the KFC Elite League with aplomb, dismantling Monedderlust of Berbice in the opening game of the event by a 7-0 score-line led by a five-goal blitz from Marcus Tudor last evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.

The contest was effectively over at the halftime interval, as Tudor recorded a hat-trick. He found the back of the net in the ninth, 23rd, and 39th minutes. He would continue his goal-scoring prowess in the second stanza, tallying a further two strikes in the 48th and 63rd minutes to complete his haul.

The event continues tomorrow at the same venue with another round of matches.
