LUCAS STOCK INDEX (LSI)
The second trading period in March 2024 saw the Lucas Stock Index decline by 0.689 percent on the sale of 28,447 shares. Five stocks were traded this week with three Tumblers and no Climbers. The Tumblers lost over G$5.4B in value.
The stock price of Banks DIH (DIH) fell 3.448 percent on the sale of 19,250 shares while that of Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) fell 0.386 percent on the sale of 48 shares. In addition, the stock price of Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (BTI) fell 0.183 percent on the sale of 210 shares.
In the meanwhile, the stock prices of Demerara Bank Limited (DBL) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL) remained unchanged on the sale of 146 and 8,793 shares respectively.
