Airy Hall and Beterverwagting (BV) secured berths in the next round when the Easter Football Cup Championship continued on Sunday evening at the Golden Grove Community Centre ground.
Airy Hall defeated the Mahaicony Western Lions 6-2. Jason Ronaldo bagged a double in the sixth and eighth minutes, while Aeon Abel tallied a brace in the 36th and 86th minutes. Adding goals in the 55th and 56th minutes, respectively, were Cordel Heywood and James Williams.
For the loser, Sheldon Toney and Leroy Halley netted in the 10th and 69th minutes, respectively.
Quincy Jones and Devon Griffith
Meanwhile, BV edged Anns Grove 2-1. Devon Griffith and Quincy Jones scored in the 20th and 90th+7 minutes apiece. For the loser, Dwayne Jacobs scored in the 21st minute.
Also, the Buxton Stars defeated Haslington via walkover.
