GCB Men’s U-19 Inter-County Super50 bowls off tomorrow

The teams in the Guyana Cricket Board’s (GCB) Men’s U-19 Inter-County Super50 Championship have been confirmed as the event kicks off tomorrow at the Malteenoes Sports Club on Thomas Lands and the Lusignan Facility, East Coast Demerara, respectively.

This was disclosed by the GCB on their official Facebook page.

The Berbice team comprises: Rampertab Ramnauth (Captain), Matthew Pottya (V/C), Rampersaud Ramnauth, Salim Khan, Kevin Kristen, Damion Cecil, Sanjay Algoo, Kumar Deopersaud, Afraz Budhoo, Romesh Bharrat, Rashad Gaffur, Ayhinde Roger, Devon Wharton, and Okasie Boyce. Seon Hetmyer and Shamar Angel will serve as the coach and manager, respectively.

On the other hand, the Demerara outfit contains: Romeo Deonarain, Vikash Wilkinson, Sachin Balgobin, Mavindra Dindyal (Captain), Alvin Mohabir, Zachary Jodah, Johnathan Van Lange, Anthony Lim, Kelvin Raymond, Wavell Allen, Krsna Singh, Neeran Bani, Riyad Latiff and Riyan Latiff, Arun Gainda, Dave Mohabir, Zahid Mohamed, John Persaud, and Udesh Seetaram. The roles of coach and manager will be occupied by Quasen Nedd and Puneeth Jaigopaul.

Meanwhile, the Essequibo unit is made up of: Myhim Khan, Jadon Campbell, Navindra Sankar, Gulcharran Chulai, Thaddeus Lovell (Captain), Joash Charles, Benny Persaud, Shahid Viera, Rajendra Ramballi, Bruce Vincent, Darwin Joseph, Renaldo Jeffery, Justin Sutton, and Shaziff Mohammed. Antony Adams and Nazeer Mohamed will serve in the capacities of coach and manager, respectively.

Also, the GCB Select XI, which will be coached by Kumar Bishundial, consists of: Deonarain Dindyal, Anthony Khan, Justin Doobay, Amos Charles, Shiloh Adams, Nityanand Mathura, Avishkar Persaud, Andres Fraser, Avishkar Beharry, Stephon Sankar, Natron Gill, Jayden Dowlin, Jeremiah Hohenkirk, Rajikar, and Ari Kadir. Yuvraj Khemraj will serve as the team manager.

Berbice will oppose Essequibo at the Malteenoes venue, while Demerara will lock horns with the GCB XI at Lusignan.
