Festival City labourer dies after stabbed in domestic dispute

Amaziah Hohenkirk, a  36-year-old labourer of Lot 1803 Unity Place, Festival City, Georgetown, died yesterday after he was allegedly stabbed by a 42-year-old housewife of Lot 3 Perry Street, Tucville, Georgetown.

Two suspects are currently in police custody.

According to the police, the suspect and one of her sons had a misunderstanding on Thurs-day over a speaker box belonging to the son which was damaged.

Yesterday morning at approximately 6.50 am, the suspect informed her other son about the misunderstanding. This led to a confrontation including other persons during which Hohenkirk was fatally stabbed.
