Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance and the Public Service, Ashni Singh yesterday joined President Irfaan Ali and Prime Minister Mark Phillips at a meeting with a delegation from the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank). The delegation was led by the President of the Afreximbank, Professor Benedict Oramah.
A release from the Office of the President said that the discussion centred around exploring investment opportunities in various areas.
Oramah was accompanied by the CEO and founder of Dangote Group in Nigeria, Alhaji Aliko.
Also present were Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, and Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar.
