National junior table tennis team wings out for Dominican Republic

Yesterday, Guyana’s Junior National Table Tennis Team departed Guyana’s shores for Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, where they will participate in the 27th Caribbean Youth Championships scheduled for April 23-30.

The team departed the CJIA with Sky High Airlines at 2:20pm yesterday. In Santo Domingo, the team will be joined by Jasmine Billingy and Thuria Thomas, who are with the senior women’s teams competing in the senior edition of the championships.

The junior team will be coached by the experienced Linden Johnson along with Cuban coach Yasel Duany Cisneros. They are also accompanied and supported by Ramdeo and Ricardo Kumar.
