More than half Malta’s traffic police arrested for fraud

VALLETTA,  (Reuters) – More than half of Malta’s traffic police force were arrested on Tuesday for suspected overtime fraud, forcing officers to draw up emergency plans to ensure they have enough police to put on the streets, officials said.

Labs ramp up coronavirus testing as cases outside of China climb

BEIJING/GENEVA,  (Reuters) – The World Health Organization (WHO) said today the spread of coronavirus cases among people who have not been to China could be “the spark that becomes a bigger fire” and the human race must not let the epidemic get out of control.
