UNICEF donates 100 water tanks to support CDC emergency response

UNICEF last Friday handed over 100 water tanks to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) to support the agency’s response to emergencies.

Rice board gets equipment to improve data collection

The Guyana Rice Development Board (GRDB) yesterday received several pieces of equipment and operational manuals from the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) that will be used to improve its data collection and extension capabilities.

GDF awards 32 children over exam achievements

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) yesterday recognized children of uniformed and civilian personnel, with certificates and monetary awards for their outstanding performances at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) Examinations.
