Trinidad to finalise Venezuela gas deal

(Trinidad Express) Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said the recent agreement by the United States to allow Trinidad and Tobago to purchase natural gas from Venezuela, despite US sanctions against the South American country remaining intact, was a triumph for T&T.

Trinidad gas to liquids plant in trouble, 70 workers at risk

(Trinidad Guardian) NiQuan’s founder and chief visionary officer Ainsley Gill has written to bankers, noteholders and financiers saying that if the Gas to Liquids (GTL) plant does not get urgent funding it will be forced “to cease operations and send home all employees”.
