Dear Editor,
As we collectively mourn the deaths of two of our men in uniform and citizens of Guyana there is disdain for the failure of the security services’ method of approach in containing and defusing a situation that caused the death of five Guyanese citizens.
Dear Editor,
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the letter captioned, ‘No answer from the Guyana Post Office,’ as carried in your letter column on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
Dear Editor,
The recent rampage of a licensed firearm owner resulting in the loss of five lives again brings to the fore the need for better gun oversight in Guyana.
Dear Editor,
The news circulating regarding the credibility of Mohamed Osman’s recycling business that will be costing taxpayers/workers millions, reinforces the need for the immediate establishment of the Public Procurement Commission (PPC).

Dear Editor,

Dear Editor,
I refer to Mr Veetal Rajkumar’s letter published in the November 7, 2013 edition of Stabroek News entitled ‘No basis for presuming higher deforestation is due to widespread illegal mining.’
