Dear Editor, I support the Guyana Human Rights Association’s call for an investigation into the removal of the three top officers of the New Building Society and for the men to be immediately paid everything due to them.

Dear Editor, It is with some concern l write regarding the published comments regarding Bishop Juan Edghill’s public endorsement of the presidential candidate, Donald Ramotar and the People’s Progressive Party/C.

Dear Editor, Phillip Bynoe’s presence on the PPP/C stage for its Sunday, October 16 Linden rally is a stark reminder of the nature of the governance Guyanese have suffered for 19 years.

Dear Editor, I have heard some people declaring that Cde Donald Ramotar is not fit for the role of president.

Dear Editor, This letter is prompted by the expressed dissatisfaction of an irate parent whose child turned up 18 minutes late to an interview for employment at my company.

Dear Editor, Nigel Hughes should have started his press release of October 24 where he ended, proclaiming he is the proud descendant of a long line of field slaves.

Dear Editor, Under the theme ‘Working for a Better Tomorrow,‘ the PPP/C Manifesto for the 2011 elections is a mix of distortions,  untruths and misrepresentations, wishful thinking or no thinking at all.

Dear Editor, It is with a great sense of compulsion that I wish to draw attention to what I consider to be some deficiencies with regard to your coverage of the ruling PPP/C 2011 election campaign.

Dear Editor, As a follower of Jesus Christ and his teachings, I cannot allow Juan Edghill to make the statement he made on Sunday without a strong rebuke.

Dear Editor, One of the main points in the PPP/C’s manifesto is the improvement of the justice system in Guyana, a key component of which will see a revamping of its overall administration, efficiency and fairness for all citizens of this country.

Dear Editor, While Ms Gillian Burton, former President of the Guyana Trades Union Congress (GTUC), has a constitutional right to freedom of association, such right does not extend to falsification of claims about the GTUC. 

Dear Editor, I would like to respond to a letter, ‘Too many of our males are walking around with self-esteem deficits which they try to mask‘ (SN, October 24). 

Dear Editor, I was shocked to read in the press about President Jagdeo’s outburst against Mr Nigel Hughes, stating that Mr Hughes will never become a senior counsel under his or Donald Ramotar’s government.

Dear Editor, Mr C Kenrick Hunte in his letter published on October 23, 2011 in Stabroek News (SN), titled ‘The evidence shows that Guyana is becoming more dependent on imported food,‘ has negatively positioned the recently launched Guyana Food and Nutrition Security Strategy.

Dear Editor, I wonder if persons realize the implications of the recent Guyana Human Rights Association (GHRA) press release on the dismissal and charging of three senior New Building Society managers, who have now been freed of all charges, especially as everyone knows that the GHRA would have carefully confirmed all information before the release. 

Dear Editor, This is the last generation of adults who are in active politics and who are capitalising on the untutored minds to be disrespectful during this election period.

Dear Editor, I am so digusted with the PPP/C’s persistent efforts to deny opposition parties equal access to government-owned/controlled media houses, and muzzle the independent media such as Sharma’s TV station, that I am forced to support the pledge of APNU that it will liberate the media, once the partnership is elected to office after the November 28 general elections.

Dear Editor, Some months ago, I had cause to remind politicians, that come Elections 2011, the Globe Trust and Investment Company Limited depositors, who lost their savings, will remember them for their silence on the issue.

Dear Editor, Any Guyanese, even the most ardent PPP supporter, knows that life has gotten tougher under the PPP of the past decade.
