Dear Editor, On August 3, two men came to my house and told me that they had been contracted by GPL to change my meter.

Dear Editor, Unfortunately, the department at the Guyana Public Hospital which is responsible for collecting blood samples seems to be understaffed.

Dear Editor, Your editorial of August 25 captioned ‘Murdering the elderly,’ posited a strategy which you implied may deter the murder of elderly persons because they won’t be living alone, but it failed to address the phenomenon of having persons in our society callous enough to commit such acts. 

Dear Editor, I read with dismay the article appearing in your Sunday issue titled ‘Muhammad’s abuse misdirected,’ and I believe that the Kashif and Shanghai Orgainzation owes Stabroek News a huge apology.

Dear Editor, While much energy is being devoted in certain quarters to downplay the effort made to involve youths in the decision-making process by the PPP/C these folks fail to realize that it is the failure of the other political parties to think outside of the box that has often caused them to be responsive.

Dear Editor, I had not seen your editorial on this Bill but I saw a well-written and carefully argued letter opposing your views on the Broadcasting Bill, No 13 of 2011.
