Dear Editor, Please permit me to correct the text of the penultimate paragraph in the letter, to the editor penned by me, which was published in your Saturday, June 12, 2010 issue of the Stabroek News under the title ‘Gecom spared no effort to motivate all eligible registrants to register.’

Dear Editor, It is almost disgusting to listen to someone from the government, whether it is the regional chairman, a minister or the president, give a public address in Berbice.
