Dear Editor, I confess to being torn.  The calls have been quick and loud for prioritizing constitutional reform and starting the healing.

Dear Editor, The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Guyana (FITUG) was most heartened to learn of the new PPP/C Government’s decision to offer assistance to households and those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dear Editor, Amidst the inevitable, understandable deluge of opinions, analyses, advice and projections relevant to our politics and our “new” government, I thank you for allowing me to share the following few relative “digressions” and diversions.

Dear Editor, In response to my concerns about the location of a COVID quarantine centre in a Lethem residential area, the Regional Chairman, a non-medical person, explained that the use to which the centre will be put will reduce the risk of persons living nearby becoming infected.
