Vendors told discussion was confidential

Dear Editor, We have been informed by some of our members in the Parliament View Mall (Jurassic Park), who attended a meeting on Monday morning (October 20) along with mostly alcohol liquors and front fence clothes vendors, that they were instructed by the Town Clerk, Royston King, to go and re-register their names at the Toolsie Mall. 

Cabinet meetings must not be held at Camp Ayanganna

Dear Editor, The Indian Action Committee (IAC) is shocked and extremely disappointed that the Government of Guyana has seen it fit to hold its Cabinet meetings at the headquarters of the Guyana Defence Force at Camp Ayanganna while renovations are being made at the Ministry of the Presidency (MOTP), according to a media report.

In transit woes at Piarco

Dear Editor, It seems as though the airport authority at Piarco is either a power unto itself or they are harassing and or robbing passengers in transit there to and from Guyana.
