Both semi-finals that were contested ended in stalemates which forced the final decision to be made in two dreaded penalty shootouts that both ended 3-2 in the Fruta Conquerors’ and Camptown’s favour.

In the first semi-final Fruta Conquerors and Strike Again played invigorating football with neither team letting up.

The game eventually went into overtime and then penalty kicks where Conquerors prevailed.

Kareem Sanmoogan, Romello Fraser and Joel Richman were the successful penalty kickers for Fruta Conquerors while Keith Caines and Akeem Sam were the only two penalty scorers for Strike Again.

The second semi-final ran in the same format as semi-final one with Sunburst Camptown and Beacon United playing two goalless halves before the game went into extra time where again no goal was scored.

In the ensuing penalty kicks Lezhan Lord, Oziel Small and Jason Williams scored on their attempts which pushed them into the final to take place on August 14 at the Thirst Park ground. Strike Again and Beacon United will clash for third place.
