Magistrate Judy Latchman, who presided over the trial, sentenced Collins after finding her guilty of wounding Crystal Fletchman.

According to the charge against Collins, on July 18, Fletchman was standing in a yard waiting for a taxi when Collins walked up to her and made inquiries concerning the use of a toilet.

Police say Fletchman refused to answer Collins, who then broke a glass bottle and dealt Fletchman a stab to her face. Fletchman suffered a gash to the right cheek as a result.

Collins is a mother of 11.
