Police yesterday afternoon found a large quantity of AK-47 rounds in a Cummingsburg yard and one man has been detained, Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum has confirmed.
Blanhum told Stabroek News that acting on information received, ranks went to a property at New Market Street around 3 pm and discovered 60 rounds of 7.62×39 rounds ammunition hidden in an outdoor toilet.
