It will be Pouderoyen versus Uitvlugt in the final of the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) sanctioned Den Amstel Mashramani Cup following semi-final wins on Wednesday at the Dem Amstel ground.
Uitvlugt booked their place in the finale after defeating hosts Dem Amstel by a 1-0 score line. On the other hand, Pouderoyen clinched their berth to the final round after overcoming Eagles by a 2-1 margin. Morgan Denny recorded a double in the win.
The grand finale will be staged at the same venue on Sunday alongside the earlier third place playoff.
Winner of the event will pocket $200,000 and the championship trophy while the second placed unit will walk away with $100,000 and the respective accolade. Meanwhile the third and fourth-place units will pocket $75,000 and $50,000 correspondingly.
