One day after placing 1-3 in the feature event of the Seven Seas criterium fixture in the National Park, the wheelsmen in their crisp black and white team kit took their talents to West Demerara on Sunday and once again swept the podium.

Raul Leal led teammates, Orville Hinds and Chris Cornelius across the line in the Reagan Rodrigues Memorial 33-mile road race which started at Wales, proceeded to Leonora and returned to Schoonord for the finish.

With the TE unit tuned to precision after a dedicated early season racing schedule, the trio was able to sweep the podium without any theatrics.

Shaquel Agard (Linden Bauxite Flyers), Michael Anthony (TE) and Ian Jackson placed fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

Cornelius was the first junior finisher while Jackson was the top veteran.
