South Korean company wins $454m power consultancy

A South Korean company, Byuckstan Power Company Ltd has won a $454m  consultancy for the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) This was one of the contracts which cabinet gave a green light to at its meeting on November 24, 2016, a release from the Ministry of the Presidency said.

OPEC invites T&T to talks on cut in oil production

The December 7 Trinidad Guardian has reported that Trinidad and Tobago has been invited to participate in a discussion, along with 14 other countries, being convened by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on the subject of cutting back on oil production.

Relief for women’s shelter
