GRA hosts its 20th batch of work-study students

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) on Friday, August 23, 2019, concluded  its 20th annual Work-study Programme which sought to familiarise students at the Upper Secondary and tertiary levels with the work environment.

A release from GRA said that this year’s programme accommodated 82 Grade 11 and Technical Institute students, as well as two interns who were assigned to various departments at the GRA’s Camp Street Head office and tax offices located at Anna Regina, Parika, New Amsterdam, Corriverton and Linden. It was organised in two segments beginning on June 17th and July 22nd, respectively.

Best wishes were extended by Natasha Sears, Senior Manager Human Resources Management Department on behalf of the Guyana Revenue Authority, and  Sherwyn Blackman, District Education Officer, Ministry of Education.
