Queen’s Park of Trinidad and Tobago along with  GCC Tigers and Hikers all won their matches when the Diamond Mineral Water Indoor Hockey Festival continued on Thursday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.

Queen’s Park downed Bounty GCC 5-3 in the men’s division. Jerry Bell, Shawn Lee Quay, Arrielle Bowen, Dominic Young and Marcus Pascal were on target in the win.

For the losers, Dwayne Scott tallied a double while Kareem McKenzie netted once.

In another fixture, Pepsi Hikers whipped  Saints 10-0. The duo of Randy Hope and Robert France managed hat-tricks while Devin Munroe and Aroydy Branford two goals each.

In the lone veterans division encounter, Queen’s Park downed Old Fort 5-2. Former Guyanese national Jerry Bell, bagged a double while Azad Ali, Rob Wyatt and Reiza Hussein scored one each.

In the women’s division, GBTI GCC Tigers brushed aside Saints 4-1. Gabriella Xavier, Marzana Fiedtkou, Sonia Jardine and Ashley DeGroot were on target in the rout. Shania Azeez netted the lone goal for the losers.

In other results, Spartans defeated Red Wyne 2-1 in the women’s division. Abosaide Cadogan bagged a brace in the win. For the losers Minsodia Culpepper netted.

In the men’s division, Trinidad & Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) and Old Fort battled to a 3-3 draw. Aderemi Simon recorded a double while Theodore Thierens scored once. For TTDF Christopher McKey tallied a brace and Keshen Johnson scored once.

The finals are set for tomorrow evening.
