The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will bowl off its 2020 season today with a number of exciting second-division clashes.
Headlining the weekend’s fixtures is a Zone A clash in the Noble House Seafoods (NBS) second division, two-day, contest between the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) who is sitting second from the bottom of the points table on 42 points and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) who is on top of the points table on 72 points. That match will be played at GCC from 10:30hrs. The association has released fixtures to recommence the New Building Society (NBS) second division 40-over competition which will see the University Of Guyana (UG) taking on Diplomats at the Queen’s College ground while Everest will host Bel Air Rubis. Both matches are set for today.
Meanwhile, in Sunday’s fixtures, UG will come up against Third Class at QC ground.
