Dillon Mahadeo has done it again

On the  asphalt of the National Park tarmac, the CrossFit 592 standout out ran, out lifted, out jumped and outlasted his worthy challengers to be once again crowned with the prestigious title of the fittest man in the 592.

It was his fifth title since the CrossFit style event started six years ago. He placed second in the inaugural edition.

Placing third last year, Delice Adonis (456 points) returned with a vengeance and earned the winner’s trophy and the half of a million-dollar reward compliments of title sponsor, Kares Engineering Inc.

This year, however, a tireless Mahadeo (485 points) was in a league of his own, dominating the five rounds of challenges and the 19 human obstacles on his way to collecting another ‘Guyana’s Fittest Man’ trophy.

Omisi Williams (460 points) of Linden and Shane Hamel-Smith (442 points) of Trinidad  completed the podium in a fierce duel.

For Mahadeo’s heroics, he earned the whopping $500,000 first prize.

It was much more closer in the female category.

For the former champion (2018), she earned her second ‘Fittest female’ award.

Surinamese, Kim Pinas (445 points) brought her talents over to the border and relegated former champion Semonica Duke (440 points) who finished closely behind in third when the successful event ended under the floodlights.  More details in subsequent edition.
