The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) is urging cricketers in the Berbice area to apply for the BCB/Minister Zulfikar Mustapha, University of Guyana scholarship.
“The Berbice Cricket Board hereby invites youths interested in pursuing studies in the agricultural field at the University of Guyana to apply for the BCB/Minister Zulfikar Mustapha Educational Scholarship,” the board’s Public Relations Officer, Simon Naidu said via a press release.
The deadline for the submission of applications is November 15, 2020 and applications are to be sent to president of the BCB, Hilbert Foster after which a special committee will be tasked with selecting the awardee who will get a sponsorship worth G$200,000.

1. Full name and address
2. Date of birth, schools attended
3. CSEC results
4. Acceptance of entry into University of Guyana
5. Two personal recommendations
6. Letter from a cricket club proving membership
7. A short essay on how the candidate views his/her future and how they would contribute to Guyana’s development.
