The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has uplifted $1.5M worth of cricket gear donated by former Guyana and West Indies opener, Clayton Lambert.

The gear, the board stated in a brief release, will be distributed from Saturday at the Area H Ground from 15:00h.

The gear will be donated to under 15 players across Berbice and also to the Berbice River Cricket Association, Upper Corentyne Cricket Association, and the Berbice High School.

“President Hilbert Foster would also be fulfilling his commitment to a young man at No. 72 Village, whose father’s arms were damaged in a fight earlier this year. The distribution of gear will be the first project for the BCB in 2021,” the release stated.

“If your club has not submitted your list of players, please do so by Thursday 31st of December. Failure to do so will result in your players not benefiting,” the BCB release ended.
