Kishan Bayo called Penton, a 26-year-old fisherman of No. 76 Village, Corentyne, Berbice allegedly drowned sometime between the hours of 12:30-16:45 on Monday, the police said.
Enquiries disclosed that Bayo was last seen alive and highly inebriated at about 12:30 hours.
About 16:45 hours the man was seen lying motionless in a drain at No. 76 Village. The body was examined and no mark of violence was seen.
