GUA extends support to our frontline workers

Dear Editor,

The Guyana United Artists (GUA) wishes to extend our support and solidarity with the Valiant Frontline workers, who have for 15 unvaccinated months saved the lives of many of our Guyanese compatriots, working long hours beyond the call of duty, selfless in their service to the Guyanese Nation. Even though they have reported for duty and were locked out, they will receive salary deductions according to the Health Minister, Dr. Frank Anthony. The Covid-19 Pandemic has brought out the cruelty and inhumanity of the People’s Progressive Party Government that has made the cruelty generations of our fore-parents experienced under the white slave masters pale into insignificance. Guyanese are being horsewhipped, driven like mules and donkeys to be vaccinated, and the PPP, whip in hand, and is the new Massa. So revolting are the thoughts made public on social media behind the PPP’s actions, they can only indicate that it must have some unimaginable, sinister agenda that is yet to unfold.

Sincerely,

Desmond Alli
