The Ministry of Health yesterday reported one new COVID-19 infection from a batch of 213 tests.
The ministry’s updated COVID-19 dashboard also showed that 4 persons were in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 8 in institutional isolation, and 68 in home isolation.
The new case took the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Guyana to date to 63,273. There have been 61, 967 recoveries.
The number of deaths remained at 1226.
