Seon Bristol to manage national team for Winfield Braithwaite Caribbean Schoolboys and Juniors tournament

Veteran boxing administrator and assistant secretary treasurer of the Guyana Boxing Association, Seon Bristol, has been named manager of the national team selected to participate in the Winfield Braithwaite Caribbean Schoolboys and Juniors tournament.
The disclosure was made yesterday by GBA president Steve Ninvalle who stated that the “energetic, knowledgeable, respected and magnanimous” Bristol was tailor-made for the position.
Bristol will manage the team of 17 boxers and six coaches. The tournament is scheduled for August 26 to 28 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in Georgetown. Guyana is set to defend its title against The Bahamas, St Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago.
