Guyana National U14 Boys football programme ended its three-match tour of Suriname on a positive note, defeating Inter Wanica U16 setup yesterday at the Essed Stadium.

The Guyanese prevailed 1-0 to end their tour with a record of one win and two losses. The team went down by 0-4 score-line to Transvaal U16 in their second fixture, and was defeated by Voorwarts U16 outfit 0-2 in their first match.

The U14 squad comprised: Kemron Pellew, Caio Paul, Joseph Eusebio, De Angelo Dick, Machaia Defreitas, Mikkel Mills, La Andre Garnett, Ezekiel Baldeo, Michael Joseph, Jason Felix, Delyman Hendricks, Luke Lavigne, Keshon Leacock, Jemeal Garnett, Nicholas Tixey, Shaquan David, Isaiah Ifill, Jaden Harris, Levi Sampson, and Malcolm Hendricks.

The members of the coaching staff encompasses: Devnon Winter (head coach), Joyann Williams (team manager), Selwyn Isaacs (assistant coach), Andre Gibbs (GK coach), and Mark DeFreitas (assistant manager).

The team was withdrawn from the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Boys U14 Challenge Series in the Dominican Republic due to a lack of available flight options.
